Dykes of Gray Community come together for Tree Planting

Residents at Dykes of Gray village in Dundee have come together to plant over 400 trees as part of a community event in partnership with the Woodland Trust and Springfield Properties.
The village, which recently won the Best Public Realm title at the UK-wide WhatHouse? Awards, has been designed to include everything a community needs to thrive – a range of homes, local amenities, like the popular Spar within the development, play parks, an amphitheatre, public art and now, a community woodland.
Woodland Trust donated 420 trees, across 11 different species, with Springfield providing the land, commemorative medals and refreshments from Nicattos on the day of the planting.
