Springfield secures planning for over 100 new homes in Dornoch

Springfield Properties, one of Scotland’s leading home builders, has secured planning permission for an additional 112 high quality homes at their sought-after development in Dornoch.
Highland Council unanimously approved the plans for the next two phases of the development, which once complete will comprise of 194 homes, including 48 much needed affordable.
As part of the Council’s wider aspirations to improve active travel throughout the region, the planning permission also includes upgrades to a popular route from the Springfield development to North Street in the centre of Dornoch to make the path more accessible.
The 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes, just off Station Road, are highly energy efficient using air source heat pump technology which is better for the environment and helps keep running costs low for residents.
