Inverness train station is a short drive away and offers direct links to several locations, including the central belt. The sleeper train is also available at this station and travels as far as London.
From the development, you can easily join the A9 connecting the north coast to the central belt, or the A96 to Aberdeen and the A84 down to Glasgow via Fort William. There is also a petrol station located right next to the development and is open 5am till 10pm, Monday to Saturday and 7am-10pm Sunday.
To get to Inverness airport, it is about a 14-minute drive and offers numerous national flights as well as some across Europe.
Multiple bus routes are situated near the development and provide easy commuting into Inverness and neighbouring towns. The bus runs every 10 minutes on weekdays providing a great opportunity to explore the city.
Facilities
The area offers a multitude of things to see and do, whether you're into golfing, shopping, or walking, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
Inverness golf course is located next to the development and includes an 18-hole course, practice areas, a bar and restaurant.
There's a wide mixture of shops within the city with Eastgate shopping centre providing many outlets with plenty of clothing stores and eateries to choose from. If you don’t want to travel into the centre, then why not visit Eastfield Retail Park or Inches Retail Park. Both retail parks are a short drive from the development and offer a variety of shops and amenities.
If you enjoy the outdoors, why not go for a stroll around one of beautiful parks in Inverness. If you go further into the city, you will be able to walk alongside the River Ness. For something a little further out, you will find Loch Ness which is only 14 miles away and hosts an abundance of walks and activities with stunning views.
The development is within walking distance from a selection of cafés and restaurants, with a post office, pharmacy and hospital situated nearby.
Schools
There are 5 primary schools less than a mile from the development, the closest being Drakies Primary School which is about a 5-minute walk. Millburn Academy is the closest secondary school and is around a 30-minute walk.
The Inverness campus for the University of the Highlands and Islands, is only a 5-minute drive away.
